Transportation in Rishikesh

Taxi : Taxis and cabs can be hired from local tour operators, and there are also jeeps, which are available on a per-seat basis, which run on shuttle routes around Rishikesh.

On Foot : The best way to explore Rishikesh is on foot, as most of the religious attractions in the city are located in close proximity to each other.

Auto-Rickshaw : The most economical way to get around in Rishikesh - auto-rickshaws are readily available in all nooks and corners and mostly run to and from the bus stand/railway station to Lakshman Jhula.
